My high school classmate Ryan is a public school teacher in a remote extension high school in Bayog, Zamboanga del Sur. With the ‘new normal’ and the new ways that school is going to be done, teachers are faced with a lot of challenges. One of which is the lack of right tools that they can use to perform their task efficiently. We learned that DNHS-Supon Extension does not have basic laptops or computers, both for the teachers and their over one hundred students.

For several years of working with teachers in depressed communities, i know the hardships they go through just so they can fulfil their sworn duties , and many rely on the support of non-government stakeholders to deliver and perform their duties well.

I appreciate the hard work of the teachers of Depase National High School-Supon Extension, and i am initiating this campaign so we can give them support during this time. I am hoping to raise 10 basic laptops that they can use, and also their students.

Join me in showing our appreciation to teachers like them who go extra mile to educate our youth, the future of our nation, by contributing for the purchase of laptops . Thank you in advance!
