Guinihon Elementary School is a small school situated in the western part of the Municipality of Mayoyao, Ifugao. The primary source of income for the people living here is farming. However, due to circumstances, it is usually not enough to sustain their daily needs. This is why many of the parents migrate to other places— some in uncultivated lands in Cagayan Valley, Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya, Baguio and in Metro Manila to search for better opportunities, leaving the grandparents or next of kin to look after their children while they’re away.

Me and Ma’am Armie are initiating this campaign to help inspire the kids who don’t get to see their parents everyday. Hopefully, getting a sturdy school bag can help brighten them up and motivate them to pursue their studies.
