BAG GIVER WITH A PURPOSE

Hi, my name is Catherine Cortez and I was inspired by my friend, Jerry Bey, who just successfully did his bag drive. I asked him on how I can be part of this organization and what are the mechanics in initiating my own campaign. I was so curious about it and then I searched for this website! Something struck my heart and I felt that I need to do something that will be beneficial to the children and to make a positive change in the community.

I already volunteered in our community at my work such as Brigada Eskuwela in remote areas here in Pampanga and I want to initiate my own campaign for a bag drive through the help of my family, friends and colleagues. I want to give back and be a good example to the kids. I’m also doing this because I want to inspire others to share their blessings, because I myself witnessed the joyful hearts when the kids received the bags during my friend’s campaign. My heart melted. I was so happy.

With your help, I am raising 100 bags for the impoverished school children of Lengaoan Elementary School, Buguias, Benguet

Hi, I want you to know that this campaign is very dear to me. I felt that I really need to do something to help the kids and save them. During my quite time when I ask wisdom to the Lord if I’ll do this, I was struck by this verse Hebrews 10:24 “We should think about each other to see how we can encourage each other to show love and do good works”. (ERV) I was empowered by this verse and begun to initiate this campaign to help the kids, because I know that God is with me.nnThis is actually my first time to initiate a bag drive and ask help to those people who are willing to share their blessings. I also lift everything to the Lord because I know this isn’t easy, but I always remind myself that “with God nothing is impossible!” He will provide people who will help me in this journey!nnYou know why I named this campaign “BAG GIVER WITH A PURPOSE?”,because every bag that you’ll purchase can save a child’s life and their future!
