Hello, Givers!

BEAGIVER is initiating a campaign to raise bags for the students of Mabini Elementary School in Donsol, Sorsogon. We were inspired to take on this campaign upon learning the story of the community from Carlos, one of our givers who is also a resident from the community. Because of its geographical location, people in Donsol farm or fish as their main source of living. Thus, during the pandemic, when many people couldn’t go out to buy food, the barangay’s farmers and fishermen were there to bring food to the community.

That’s why through our bag campaign we hope to give back to our farmers and fishermen by helping their children in a simple way. The school bags that we plan to give to their children will serve not just as their companion everytime they walk half an hour to school but also as a symbol that somewhere beyond their humble community, there are givers supporting them.
