I’m dedicating this campaign for my mom who’s turning 60 this coming April 2022. I know hitting 60 is a big thing and needs to be celebrated, but as for mom she never wants to have a big party, instead, she wants to use this time for giving back to other people.

2021 hit us big time, especially for mom. I got Covid in January while being away with them since I’m currently based in UAE, then followed by the sudden death of my dad in February. Since then, mom is currently living alone right now with our dog named Bunso.

I choose Fe del Mundo and National Children Hospital as our main beneficiaries as both of these places got special memories for mom.

Fe Del Mundo Hospital is where my late brother spent most of his time admitted before he passed away last 2011 and National Children Hospital is where I usually have my 2D Echo procedure before I got my open heart surgery same year of 2011. Both of these places are where Mom spent most of her time taking take care of me and my brother before. She got a special bond with nurses, doctors, families of the patients, and especially the children. Since then, she’s been wanting to give something special to these hospitals when she gets a chance.

Despite all the tragic events that happen to her this past few years, she’s been so positive and strong all throughout her life. And now that she’s hitting 60, I wish her nothing but the best and spent it in the happiest way possible I know she’ll enjoy and appreciate this campaign. She demands nothing for herself, she’s the most selfless person I know and always wants to share her blessings with others. And with that, I can’t think of any other way to celebrate her birthday other than through this campaign.
