Hi Generous Givers!
We,Gelai and Marlo, with our two kids, have been living in Dingalan since pandemic started in 2020. Dingalan, a 3rd class municipality situated in the southernmost part of Aurora Province. This town is a fast- emerging tourist destination in Central Luzon, with around 28,000 population and mainly relies on fisheries and agriculture as source of livelihood. Living back in the province during the height of the COVID cases was a huge blessing for us. Thus, we want to give back to the community for being our safe haven.
With your help and support, we wish to gift Give Bags to the indigent and underprivileged pupils from three barangays- Dikapanikian, Paltic and Caragsacan Elementary Schools. One bag for a child can spark his/her dream and change the future. One durable bag with raincoat for a deserving pupil aiming to be the next teacher, policeman or doctor of the town.
Dikapanikian Elementary School is a small school with pupils mostly of Dumagat descent. It will take an hour of boat travel going to the nearest barangay or the town center. Paltic Elementary school, on the other hand, is one of the most populous barangay of the town. Select pupils are from families of fishermen and farmers from the mountain. Lastly, Caragsacan Elementary School, also have pupils from Dumagat families.
