I Help to Shape the Future

It was year 1982 when the islanders’ dream to have their own school where their children can study was finally realized. 38 years since then, the school has evolved into one of the most active in the division and has even garnered awards from the regional and the national department.
38 years ago, Panglit Elementary School has taken an oath to deliver quality education and will continue to do so with or without the pandemic.

To abide by this oath, our school chose the modular distance learning, (after much analysis and evaluation of the parents’ chosen modality, the learners’ safety, the community’s situation) as the best tool to serve the learners. Though the island is a rich land, many of the residents are considered below the poverty line and are hit badly by the pandemic which means that they can’t afford to scrape any more money for online classes.

The modules will be given FREE to the learners, provided by the school MOOE fund and the Teachers’ Personal Fund. But these funds are not enough to cover the cost of the materials for the modules (printer, bond papers, inks).

Thus, I am initiating the “I HELP TO SHAPE OUR FUTURE” campaign to augment the necessary funds needed in the continuous production of learning modules of our learners. I am knocking at your benevolent hearts for help. By supporting this campaign, you are helping to continue the education of our learners, our children, our future generations.
