Education must continue! This is the battle cry of the Department of Education amidst the pandemic as the system takes a shift to Distance Learning modalities. To make education accessible through distance learning, principals, teachers and learning facilitators have taken the lead in its implementation from the distribution of modules , monitoring, and retrieval from centers in Sorsogon City such as our E-nay centers.
For almost a year, teachers have been carrying out their duties by visiting their learners homes oftentimes by foot and conducting limited face to face reading assessments and other areas of learning.
This is why on my birthday, I would like to show my appreciation to our teachers by initiating this campaign to raise bags that they can use for their monitoring. These bags could carry their food, health kits, and of course the learning materials for the students. These will certainly help our teachers especially those who walk or even hike the mountains just to reach their students. Let’s support our hardworking teachers. Support my #BirthdayCampaign in any way that you can. Thank you!
Note: Buy one bag for a teacher and you will also be able to give one bag for a student.
